CAPTIVES OF THE ALMIGHTY Episode 4
Uchenna and Nnaemeka clung tightly unto each other in the hug as they had greatly missed each other while Nnamdi laughed as he watched the fondness between the two of them.
“Uncle, I missed you.” The little boy said excitedly.
“I missed you more..” Uchenna replied laughing.
“Uncle, good evening sir.” He greeted as he and Nnaemeka walked up to meet Nnamdi hand in hand.
“Man of God, good to see you. Nnaemeka have really missed you.” Nnamdi replied laughing.
“I know he would miss me and he’s the main reason why I said we must come over to the house tonight, I missed him so much too..” Uchenna said laughing and rubbing the boy’s head gently.
“You came with your wife?” Nnamdi asked him and just as he was answering, Chizaram came to invite them downstairs for dinner and they talked and laughed before moving downstairs.
Downstairs the whole family surrounded the table as usual but more people had been added to the family and Cherry was also back for the school holiday, so the house was full.
“Uncle, good evening sir.” Shalom stoop down to greet Nnamdi who patted her on the back gently.
“Sister Shalom, you’re welcome, God bless you.” He said in response smiling warmly at her.
“And can see you’re fine, my son is trying very well..” Nnamdi said laughing and the commendation attracted Uchenna’s attention.
“Yes o, uncle..Seeing is believing, you don’t need to ask her before you know I am trying. I am winning the best husband award of the year..” He was praising himself from where he was sitting while Shalom smiled from ear to ear looking very beautiful in her pregnancy.
“Come’on keep quiet my friend, you’re trying what? Is it because I have not told you that you’re gradually developing a pot belly?” Chizaram fired at him and Uchenna started looking down at his stomach as if he was afraid and everybody bursted into laughter.
“God, please I don’t want pot belly biko..Mummy, tell me you’re joking..” Uchenna said looking himself all over again.
“Joking how, don’t you watch yourself in the mirror? Mr man, pot belly won’t fit you o..” Chizaram replied sarcastically with a feigned seriousness.
“Are you for real? Favorite, and you didn’t even bother to tell me. I don’t like pot belly o..” Uchenna said holding his tummy while everyone including Shalom laughed.
“Don’t mind my wife, son. You don’t have any pot belly, you only added a little flesh to show that you’re happily married..” Nnamdi chipped in with a reassuring smile.
“Oh! thank you, Uncle.. My mind just jumped o and what was just coming to my mind was gymnasium because this man of God must keep looking young and cute for the work of the ministry..” Uchenna was still talking, adjusting his cloth when Chizaram threw another bomb at him again.
“Is it for the work of the ministry or you want to look cute to be doing fine boy for all those girls out there and I can see you have stopped wearing your wedding ring.
Marriage that have not even reached how many months, you have dropped your wedding band and you sister Shalom, stay there and be smiling, don’t tell him to start wearing his ring.
These men of God doesn’t want to appear like people who have married o, including this your uncle you’re seeing. I even saw pastor Theo the other day without his ring too but Uchenna pass, he’s doing fine bobo…” Chizaram was still lashing at him and he became tired and didn’t even know what else to say again.
“Yea!!! My father my father, that’s why I love you.
You will live long and younger for me, I will go and buy you jean trousers and polos with sneakers to be looking good..” Uchenna was shouting in excitement while Chizaram hit hard on her husband.
“You like supporting your sons to be doing bad things, instead of telling him to be wearing his wedding ring, you’re supporting him..” She playfully fought her husband who was laughing hard.
“But it’s true, wedding ring is never a proof of love and faithfulness in marriage..” Nnamdi insisted while dodging his eyes from her strikes and Uchenna was just laughing at the top of his voice.
“Mummy, stop beating my daddy..” Nma shouted out to her mother.
“Come’on, keep quiet my friend, he’s your daddy abd he’s my husband, who owns him between us?” Chizaram blurted out and everybody started laughing afresh at the question she pose at the innocent girl..
Shalom fell on her husband laughing hard as that was the first time she was seeing Chizaram acting troublesome…

CAPTIVES OF THE A;LMIGHTY Episode 3
“Really?” Nnamdi asked his son in a bid to make him talk more.
“Yes Dad, but I want to beat him both in wealth and fame..just that I am worried about what my friends said that Christian music will not make me famous and rich..” Nnaemeka complained bitterly and just then they sighted Chizaram and her children coming so Nnamdi knew that he would not be able to address the matter in details right there.
“You know what son?
Your friends lied, singing Christian songs doesn’t make one a local musician and you can be greater than that worldly musician that is worth 30 billion naira both in fame and in wealth.
Look, I don’t want to answer your questions in a hurry, as you can see your mom and your siblings are already coming back and I don’t want them to hear our conversation. I want it to be between us.
So this is what we are going to do, I am going to take only you out so we can discuss it very well but I want to give you an assignment first, if you finish doing the assignment let me know then we would go out together and talk, just you and I. Is that okay?” He asked the boy who was already beaming at the idea of going out with his father.
“Yes Dad. What’s the assignment all about?” He asked excitedly.
“Okay.. That’s my boy, I know you will do the assignment very fast because you’re a smart boy.
When we get home, tell Mummy that I said she should give you a brand new 60leaves notebook for my assignment and in the notebook write out the following for me.
1.Why do you want to become a music evangelist or a musician?
- What’s the origin of music?
3.Write out the names of the top 10 circular/worldly musicians you know and admires.
- Write out the names of the top 10 Christian musicians you know and admires.
How did these top 10 circular musicians and Christian musicians get to where they are, what’s their secret?” Nnamdi was still talking when Chizaram and the children arrived and Nmasinachi hurriedly brought something to give her brother Nnaemeka and disrupted them in the process.
“Nnaemeka, Nnaemeka take your own..” She ran into their conversations and Nnamdi smiled at the way he frowned at his sister.
“Don’t worry son, when you get the notebook I will repeat the assignment questions for you, okay..?” He assured him and the boy nodded, breathing down as others joined them.
“Hey! Father and Son, are we not ready to go home yet?
You can as well finish your discussion at home..” Chizaram said smiling at them.
“Yeah, we’re ready to go home.” Nnamdi replied laughing.
“Mom, Dad said you should give me a brand new 60leaves notebook for my assignment when we get home..” Nnaemeka informed his mother.
“Alright my darling, I will do that.” She replied then looked towards Nmasinachi who was feeding her father chips in his mouth.
“Father and daughter feeding each other, can we get going already?” Chizaram said teasingly as she stared at them with a feigned jealousy.
“Darling, let’s go, mummy is jealous..” Nnamdi whispered into Nma’s ear and they both started laughing.
“Nma, what did your Dad say? Tell me now or I will seize everything I got for you.” Chizaram threatened the girl playfully to see if she can betray the special love she has for her father for once.
“Please, don’t do that mom, Dad was only joking..” She replied looking from her father to her serious looking mother and Nnamdi was just laughing at them.
“That’s not what I asked you, I said, what did your daddy tell you?” Chizaram pressed hard on the tensed up girl who looked confusedly from both of them as Nnamdi stood up from his seat.
“Don’t worry sweetheart, am I not worth the whole world to you?” Nnamdi asked, searching the little girl’s eye and she nodded in the positive, taking sides with her father and Chizaram bursted into a defeated laughter.
“Nma, you don’t love me right?
No, I know Nnamdi and Nnaemeka loves me and Jesus loves me too..” She said amidst laughter as they left the private eatery.
“I love you too, mom..” Nma shouted out still clinging to her father as they walked in the way…
Immediately they arrived home that evening, while others were collecting their things from the shopping bag, Nnaemeka was busy disturbing his mother to give him the notebook so his father can dictate the assignment for him again before he becomes busy and immediately the book got into his hand, he went and knocked on the door of his parents bedroom to see his father.
That was the first time he was getting so fond of relating with him so closely, he used to prefer Uchenna over his father because he felt that his father was too busy and didn’t have his time but Uchenna gives him attention and carried him along with himself wherever he went.
They were still in the bedroom upstairs talking about the assignment when a knock came on the door. It was Uchenna who had just arrived Nnamdi’s house with his pregnant wife that was knocking and the moment Nnaemeka heard Uchenna’s voice outside the door, he jumped down from the bed and rushed out to answer the door shouting in excitement.
“Uncle Uchenna!!!!!” Nnaemeka was shouting at the top of his voice in excitement as he opened the door and jumped over his body…..

CAPTIVES OF THE ALMIGHTY Episode 2
The morning devotion at Nnamdi’s house in the morning was more of interaction as he allowed everyone in attendance including Nnaemeka, Nnamdi junior and Nmasinachi to make contributions by saying what they understood from the Scriptures they read and he and his listened patiently to what everyone had to say.
He commended everyone’s comments especially their little children’s interpretation of the bible passages with a promise to take them out and give them a treat for answering well. Though their interpretation of Scriptures were a bit childish, he praised them just to encourage them to do better next time.
Their fourteen years triplets after the morning devotion left to their various rooms with excitement to prepare for school as Nmasinachi reminded her father of his promise of taking them out for a special treat.
“Daddy, I do hope you remember your promise?” Leaning on his shoulder, she asked him and waited for his response before going upstairs.
“Yes, my beautiful Angel. I’ll do that when you return from school in the evening.” He assured her with a great show of affection then she jumped over his body, thanked him and ran upstairs to prepare for school.
Nnamdi fulfilled his promise to his kids that evening when they returned back from school, he took them out alongside his wife but Nnaemeka was more reserved to himself and didn’t seem to be interested in most of the things his siblings were doing.
At a point, Nnamdi and his wife had to signal each other and she left with Nnamdi junior and Nmasinachi under the guise of going to pick some things from shopping mall leaving father and son to talk.
“Nnaemeka, are you okay, is there anything you need?” Nnamdi broke the silence when others left.
“Nothing.” He replied avoiding his father’s eyes.
“But you look unhappy, tell me, what’s the problem?” He pressed on him gently.
“I’m fine dad, just that I wish to go back to uncle Uchenna’s house but Mummy said I wouldn’t be living there with him anymore.” He replied in a complaining manner.
“Okay.. You still love to go and live with your uncle?” Looking at him carefully, he asked and he answered in the affirmative.
“It’s alright, I will speak with your mother to know why he doesn’t want you to go and live there and see how to convince her to allow but you have to promise me first that you will be my friend from today and will not hide anything from me, will you?” Nnamdi said, searching his eyes and he nodded his head in the positive.
“Good!
Now we’re friend and there’s no hiding of secrets anymore. One day, I am going to take only you out and tell you the story of my life when I was at your age.
Will you like to hear the story?” He asked him beaming with smilies.
“Yes Dad, when would that be?” For the first time he saw excitement in his son’s eyes with a sincere show of interest.
“Uhm… That would be when I am sure that you are truly my friend if you tell me everything about yourself and everything that happens to you at home or school or anywhere; if you start telling me about them, I will be taking you out twice every month to tell you my stories..” Nnamdi said, trying to sound childish at his level.
“Okay then, I will tell you what my friends in school are saying.
Dad, is it true that being a worldly musician is more trending and rewarding than being Christian musician?
My friends in school said that Christian musicians are poor because Christians don’t support their talented young people but people of the world supports their own people who sings or do things for the devil..
Dads it true that Christians don’t support their talented young people and that worldly musicians makes it more than Christian musicians?” Nnaemeka asked to his father’s amazement but he quickly hid his shock as he didn’t believe that as young as the boy was, he and his age group had already made their discoveries and were already discussing such a serious matters among themselves.
He knew that the young boy has strong passion for music and would without doubt become a musician and that’s why they have been doing everything possible to groom him into using that gift for God by allowing him to minister alongsid with Uchenna and in their programs.
Though there was an iota of truth in what those his friends in school told him, he didn’t want to rush at answering his question immediately, he wanted to know what led him and his friends into that kind discussion.
“Did you tell them you want to become a Christian musician?” He asked him with a calming tone.
“Yes Dad, Jimmy said he wants to become a lawyer when he grows up and Tobi said he wants to become a hip pop star and a businessman but I told them that I want to become a music evangelist because I don’t want to sing for the devil and they started laughing at me.
They said if I want to become super rich and popular like Lyn Skido and Marley Mario, I should forget about Christian music because Christian people are not supportive and I will end up being a poor local musician.” The fourteen Nnaemeka told his aghast father who was just staring at him.
“Okay.. And what did you tell them again?” Nnamdi asked curiously.
“Nothing..” He replied.
“Nothing? Does that mean you believed everything they said?” Searching the little boy’s confused eyes, he asked.
“I think I believe them Dad, because I sees hip pop stars on the television more than Christian musicians and they show their money and expensive cars and many people sing their songs too more than Christian songs which are only sang in the church.
Dad, do you know that the richest musician in this country is worth over thirty billion naira in his bank account and he is not even a Christian musician?”Nnaemeka shocked his father yet again….
Please, let’s pray for our country Nigeria.

CAPTIVES OF THE ALMIGHTY
Nnamdi held Chizaram into his warm arms, both of them lying down stark naked after a very hot sex and he caressed her hair gently and sweetly while she rested quietly in his arms with her eyes closed in enjoyment to the sweet touches.
“My Reward..” He called her with a calm bedroom voice and she answered still with her eyes closed.
“I’ve been thinking about something you said earlier and I think I find it very interesting and important for us to look into critically..” He said and she opened her eyes inquisitively to look into his eyes.
“What’s that?” She asked curiously, searching his eyes.
“Yeah… You talked about us making our children captives for God..” He said and she nodded her, desiring to hear more of what he has to say about it.
“Uhm… You know, that word, “captives” kept ringing in my head even after you finished saying it and I have been trying to understand what it truly mean for our children to become captives for God.
Something actually struck my mind while I was trying to figure out what it means but then I want to hear from you first, perhaps your explanation would better explain my own thoughts or become a perfect confirmation to the burden in my heart.
Tell me, what did you mean when you said, together we shall make our children captives for God?” He asked her and she adjusted herself properly to answer the question.
“Well, like I said earlier before even talking about the children, I said something about me being made a captive of the Almighty who was once a captive of the devil.
Yeah, I understand the word, “Captive” to mean, “Prisoner” or “Captured.”
When I got initiated into the underworld company, I was called a captive.
A captive because they initiated me into it without seeking my consent, they didn’t care whether I liked the kind of life they were introducing me to or not, they forced me into it through hypnotism and other demonic influences.
When I later realized myself in their strange coven, I hated it and wanted to come out but it wasn’t possible because I had become a captive, I have been captured and was under their control so that I could not go where I want to go or decide what I want to do.
Everything about me was decided by them, even when I want to do something good, they had the power to manipulate me into doing evil.
I had no mind or life of my own for as long as I was their captive, they chose where I go, where I live, whom I relate with and practically everything until the day the Almighty God which is highest power and authority delivered me from their hold.
Now, if the Underworld company which is under the control of Satan could control my life like that in such a way that it’s what they want me to do that I did then it is very much possible for our children to be captured also of God without their permission to do only what God wants.
The Underworld are but small mighties, there are limits to what they can do under the heavens and sometimes even before carrying out an operation, they appeal to the Almighty who is unlimited in power for permission before they can tempt or afflict anybody who is connected to God as we saw in the case of Job and Peter who sought God’s permission before attacking them.
I strongly believe that our children too can become captured by God in such a way that even if peradventure they want to go contrary to the ways of God and the teachings of the Scriptures unto godliness which we have been teaching them in words and through our lifestyles, they will always find themselves inside God.
It’s true that God does not force the human beings He created to follow Him, He gave everyone a freewill and allows them choose for themselves whom to serve, whether the devil or Him. But children can become willful captives.
If we can succeed in catching them young at this their tender age and persuade them to start making some willing covenant prayers and commitments to God seriously, I am very sure that when they grows up and leaves to stay on their own without our surveillance they won’t be able to depart from the ways of God because they have already gone so deep in many covenants and commitments with God that their lives and destinies are practically being controlled by a higher force which they can’t resist.
Have you not noticed that the evil covenants some ancestors made with their gods which they included their children and children’s children still speaks and works on their offsprings even to the fourth generations after some seventies and hundreds of years after they have lived their lives and died?
That’s how initiation is done too, occultist parents initiates their children to take after them in serving what they serves and most times their children becomes even greater than them in exploits ; we can also initiate our children into God as Captives of the Almighty God bounded to live all the days of their lives in God doing only what pleases God and the best time to do so is not tomorrow but now.
My God’s grace, I have been leading them to do some deliberate lifelong covenant prayers but if we can both join hands in working on them, we’re sure to raise a three man squad for God who will be so loyal and bounded to God to do great and mighty things for God more than we have ever done.
That’s what I meant by making our children captives for God.” Chizaram explained carefully then Nnamdi breathed down heavily a great sigh of relief.
“You see, that’s why you’re my greatest reward from God.
You compliments my weaknesses with your strengths and sees for me when I seems blind.
I have always dreamt of my children growing up to know and follow the Lord even more than myself but I have never taken it so serious to work on them from this their tender age with extra commitment until this night. It’s been only you all these while, all I did was relax back and make excuses that you’re specially graced for the children ministry but I have been wrong.
These are my children and if they becomes negative influences in the society tomorrow, it’s my name that will be dragged to the mud and uhm…I would be so foolish to think that the devil will not come for my children, he will definitely for them and erm.. that’s why I totally agreed with everything you have just said about us making our children captives for God.
I am so at peace with it because that’s the only way our children can be preserved in a perverse world filled with many temptations and battles for the young.
And..the good and interesting thing about capturing our children for God is this, when the devil captures a child, God can deliver that child, when a man captures a child, God can also deliver that child but when a child is a captive in God’s hands, nothing can take that child away from God, even the child himself can’t walk out on God..” Nnamdi said laughing while she concurred to what he said.
“Thank you my reward, I will from now henceforth make out time to join you in ministering to our children.
Maybe in the morning, we would sit down and properly strategize on how best to go about the mission and uhm.. I think I am feeling hungry again at the sight of the tantalizing food before me..” Nnamdi said grinning naughtily and Chizaram looked down at her naked body.
“Which food?
You better go and sleep..” She said then made to climb down from the bed and Nnamdi grabbed her waist from the back.
“Leave me alone jor, I will bite you o..” She threatened, trying hard to hold herself from laughing.
“Please bite me, come and bite because I like it when you are the one biting me..” Nnamdi said and she didn’t know when she started laughing.
“Naughty man..” She hit him with a pillow as both of them turned the bedspreads and pillows upsidedown in a love play….

How to build trust
Both selling and infl uencing suffer from the similar misconception that success requires you to aggressively or cleverly push a product or idea. This misunderstanding leads to inappropriate behaviors. For example, people can become evasive, “pushy,” and aggressive, or overly talkative and agreeable. Selling and infl uencing depends on getting behavior right, by moderating openness and assertiveness with warmth and competence. Combined with a great product or brand, this goes a long way to building customer loyalty. The idea Harley-Davidson overcame a turbulent past by building customer loyalty—one of its most enduring assets. It was one of America’s foremost motorbike manufacturers but, by the 1980s, sales fell dramatically following tough competition from affordable, highquality Japanese machines. Harley-Davidson improved quality using the production techniques of Dr. W. Edwards Deming. The next challenge was to win back, and maintain, market share (it now enjoys a customer loyalty rate of 90 percent). Knowledge of customers’ needs and appealing to customers’ emotions helped Harley-Davidson to build trust and bond with customers. Their managers meet customers regularly at rallies, where new models are demonstrated. Advertising reinforces the brand image, to promote customer loyalty. The Harley Owner’s Group (HOG) is a membership club that entrenches customer loyalty, with two-thirds of customers renewing membership. 1 BUILDING CUSTOMER TRUST AND LOYALTY 111175-100 GI Business.indd 3 1/5/09 10:38:10 4 • 100 GREAT BUSINESS IDEAS Signifi cantly, Harley-Davidson ensures customers receive benefi ts they value. Rich Teerlink, former chair, commented, “perhaps the most signifi cant program was—and continues to be—the Harley Owner’s Group (HOG) . . .
